This beautiful cluster of grapes was found in the Faltz Family Vineyards outside of Sandwich, Illinois in August, 2010. What a beautiful part of the country! And who said they only grow good corn there?
The Faltz family owns and operates the Fox Valley Winery in Oswego, Illinois, with tasing rooms and gift shops in Oswego and Sandwich.
You'll LOVE their wines!

Second-hand Skillets
This photo was made in a second-hand shop in Paris, Texas on a road trip during the Association of Texas Photography Instructors summer workshop in 2008. I loved the colors, textures, and design of the skillets hanging there.

This image is the end result of a photo I took last year in Austin, Texas on a leisure trip. It looks like an old, Spanish-style mansion, so I decided to call it "La Mansion".
Several filters were used to create the effect of a watercolor image, then actual watercolors are added to the digital print on heavyweight Strathmore watercolor paper. The inks are pigment inks, said to have a life expectancy of 100 or more years, when framed under glass, using an archivally-safe paper.
